The Shangli YFBBP3 series comprises three-phase induction motors designed for variable-frequency drive (VFD) operation in combustible dust environments. A totally enclosed, forced-air-cooled construction supports applications requiring adjustable motor speed.
Available options include bearing temperature monitoring, stator winding temperature monitoring and anti-condensation heaters. The exact motor configuration, operating range and hazardous-area suitability must be confirmed for the selected model and application.
Key Features

Forced-air cooling: A totally enclosed construction with forced ventilation supports motor cooling during variable-speed operation.

Mounting and Dimensions
Confirm the mounting arrangement, shaft dimensions and installation clearances before ordering. Where offered for the selected model, the following mounting arrangements may be specified:
B3: Foot-mounted, without a mounting flange.
B5: Flange-mounted, without mounting feet.
B35: Foot- and flange-mounted.
Request the dimensional drawing for the exact frame size, pole configuration and cooling arrangement. Use the approved drawing for installation planning.
Application and Selection
The YFBBP3 series is intended for variable-speed duties in combustible dust environments. Selection must consider both the driven equipment and the site's hazardous-area requirements. Dust protection does not, by itself, establish suitability for explosive gas atmospheres.
Before ordering, confirm the dust characteristics, area classification, allowable surface temperature, ambient conditions and certification requirements for the destination market. VFD settings, cooling requirements and any required thermal protection must also be agreed for the selected configuration.
