On 11 June 2026, the INVT drives product team visited Shangli for a product presentation and technical exchange on the GD350A series of high-performance general-purpose variable-frequency drives. Shangli has now added INVT drives to its range, so customers can source the motor and the drive together as one package.
GD350A drives at a glance
The following data was presented by INVT for the GD350A series:
Voltage and output: 380 V, 1.5–500 kW as a single unit and 560–3000 kW with units in parallel.
Duty: combined heavy-duty and normal-duty (G/P) design, so one drive suits both load types.
Motor control: permanent magnet synchronous motors, induction motors and, with non-standard software, synchronous reluctance motors.
Expansion: I/O, high-speed bus and PLC expansion cards for system integration.
Operation: mobile app operation, IoT remote monitoring and remote software updates.
Reliability: Safe Torque Off (STO), an independent cooling air duct, and CE and EAC certification.
Why a motor and drive package matters
A variable-frequency drive is only as good as its match with the motor. Our TYCP permanent magnet synchronous motors, for example, must run on a drive, and inverter-duty induction motors need correct drive settings to reach their rated performance. Supplying both from one source means the motor data, drive parameters and commissioning advice come from the same team.
