In November 2025, Shangli completed the dispatch of several export orders for explosion-proof motors. The shipments included YB3 series flameproof motors, dust ignition-proof motors and other flameproof induction motors for customers in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Applications
The motors are used in petrochemical plants, natural gas transmission, grain processing and energy equipment manufacturing, where they operate in hazardous areas with heat, humidity or combustible dust.
Testing before dispatch
Each motor in these orders went through explosion-protection checks, dynamic balancing and dielectric strength (insulation) testing before leaving the factory, so that it met the technical requirements agreed with the customer.
Adapted to local supply conditions
Export customers often need ratings that differ from the Chinese standard 380 V, 50 Hz supply. For these orders, Shangli adapted the voltage, frequency and mounting arrangement to each country's operating conditions.
